VTP Purvanchal vs Lodha Camelot: Two Very Different Ways to Buy in Wagholi
These two land on the same shortlist because they sit in the same corridor. They are not really competitors. VTP Purvanchal starts around Rs 47 L; Lodha Camelot around Rs 2.34 Cr. That is a five-fold gap in ticket — but only a two-fold gap in rate.
VTP Purvanchal entry — Rs 47 L for ~500 sqft carpet = ~Rs 9,400 per sqft.
Lodha Camelot 3 BHK — Rs 2.34 Cr for ~1,270 sqft carpet = ~Rs 18,430 per sqft.
Camelot costs roughly twice as much per carpet square foot. In the same corridor. That is the Lodha brand and the luxury spec priced explicitly — worth knowing before you decide it is worth it.

The risk they share
Wagholi’s infrastructure has not caught up with its construction. Whichever you buy, the peak-hour commute to Kharadi and EON is the single variable that decides whether you enjoy living there. Drive it yourself at 9am on a weekday before you sign anything. No brochure will tell you this, and no portal has a reason to.
Pick VTP Purvanchal if…
You want a sensible entry into East Pune beside the Kharadi job market, at roughly half the rate, from a developer whose earlier phases are delivered and walkable today. For a first home or a rental-yield purchase, delivered phases are the strongest risk reducer available to you.
Pick Lodha Camelot if…
You want the Lodha brand and a large-format home, and the doubled rate is a premium you are consciously choosing. Check the address carefully: this is the Wagholi side of Kharadi, not Kharadi proper, and that difference matters for both commute and resale.

Method: carpet rate = indicative entry price divided by entry carpet area, from figures on our own project pages. VTP’s entry is a 1 BHK and Camelot’s a 3 BHK, so read the rate alongside the total ticket you can actually fund. Independent, MahaRERA-registered advisor (A031262401718).
